The series itself is unique and infused with a sarcasm and cynicism different from other more celebrated shows, making it charmingly vulgar and out of place. One of the best animated mockeries. I only watched the first series in one go; 7 episodes. Absurd.

WEATHER FORECAST WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2011. NORTH: sun and nice weather everywhere except for some morning fog and partial daytime cloudiness over the central Alps. Temperatures more or less stable with highs between 23 and 28° in the plains. CENTER: prevailing sunshine almost everywhere except for still widespread clouds with local coverage between southern Lazio, southern Abruzzo, and Molise. Temperatures on the rise with highs between 25 and 28° in the plains. SOUTH AND ISLANDS: skies still generally cloudy but mostly dry except for light and local scattered rain in northern and western Sicily, and southern Calabria. Sunny in Sardinia with possible thunderstorms between Oristano and Iglesias. Temperatures stable or slightly increasing locally, with highs generally between 24 and 28° in the plains, with some peaks up to 29 in Puglia. Seas slightly choppy, Ionian south of Calabria, Ligurian at the border with France and Adriatic in the afternoon hours, the other seas slightly choppy. FOIADE WITH CREAM AND MUSHROOMS.

INGREDIENTS FOR THE PASTA: 250 g of 00 flour, 250 g of durum wheat flour, 5 eggs, 1 tablespoon of oil, salt.

METHOD: Sift the two flours, pour them in a mound on a work surface, add the eggs, oil, and salt, and knead until you achieve a firm but soft dough. Let it rest for about 30 minutes. Roll out the dough to your desired thickness and cut it into your preferred shapes, usually diamonds.

SAUCE: 500 g of mushrooms (preferably porcini), half a glass of white wine, 1 small onion, 200 ml of cream, salt and pepper to taste, oil to taste.

METHOD: Clean the mushrooms and slice them. In a pan, sauté the thinly sliced onion, add the mushrooms, let them brown, and deglaze with white wine. Add the cream and cook for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta, leaving it very al dente. Transfer it to the pan and mix it with the mushrooms, adding a couple of tablespoons of pasta cooking water if needed. Serve with plenty of grated cheese.
