In Italy, there are excellent jazz musicians who stubbornly insist on playing "classic" jazz, reinterpreting standards (this is the case for part of the record reviewed here), swinging along or jazzing up the little songs of the native tradition, or like Frasù, being like parsley and doing a bit of everything (not always well). Of course, the mainstream pays and satisfies, and it's not like jazz is doing so well abroad either, in a comatose state according to critics for at least thirty years. Internationally, Matthew Shipp stands out, and Esperanza Spalding is better than many blends like Diana Krall, while the memory of the great Esbjorn Svensson Trio (EST) lingers. The latest ECM releases by Rava are beautiful, and Bollani's, though a necessary evil of the Italian scene.

Many people don't like the famolo strano. But I really enjoy it in the arena (everyone in a frenzy) of Debaser. And then Mr. Mauri 60 (date of birth?) confidently navigates the green fields of gnu uaiv. Well done!

Great-grandson of flowers and son of fitness, I envy your friendship with a belly dancer. I only know people who used to do breakdancing on their forearms. Regards.

Dissociated funk or new wave, whatever you want to call it, James Chance/White was great. The recent production sucks like Divo Bacarach covered on X-Factor!

I confirm "The Monk" as my favorite gothic novel, as I mentioned in my comment on "The Mysteries of Udolpho" by Radcliffe, which you reviewed excellently. My Byron couldn't have found a better neighbor!

The vote was for the record. And also for the flames. But yes, also for the reviewer, who has entertained me before, yet needs some doping control to delve into the true origins of British humor (aerophagia cerebralis, how is that possible!).

I agree with the upcoming new wave. An overlooked album by critics, I say: a milestone.
Michael Cimino L'anno del Dragone
Voto:
I think Cimino wanted to "photograph," thanks in part to Stone's lens, an America at the brink of decadence, and the intemperate Stanley is ultimately struggling to put a stop to this process. It's a kind of grand subjective (from Stanley's point of view) that is as excessive as the protagonist.
I respect the reviewer's opinions, but I raise the rating.
