Allan Grant Marilyn Monroe

The review is honestly very beautiful; I think we all agree on that... But it's still comment #1 that catches my attention, because perhaps it says much more than those simple and instinctive four words. Personally, I've always found Monroe to be annoying, just like Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, John Wayne, and all those characters who have "plagued" our culture over the decades and have been imposed on us by the media as embodiments of a "myth" or a "dream" that has never belonged to us Europeans. Marilyn Monroe, a fragile, misunderstood woman, exploited by men (poor thing!!...) but it seems to me that she rode the wave very well for as long as she could, and in the end, let's face it, she was lucky to die at the right moment. Had she lived long enough to age, we would have remembered her more objectively for what she was: a terrible actress who had affairs with two Kennedys and other powerful men. So, with a healthy laugh, I side with Lord Darth Vader.

But the thing is that the next day there’s always someone ready to remind you that… maybe… the night before (I’m just saying..........................) you drunkenly sang Skepticism a cappella, bringing down the gloom in the middle of a carnival party… Just examples, you know... (anyway, I’m not crazy about Demanufacture either, I can only stand the first three songs at most, I’ll listen to this of course!!)

Proud, I think that the DeBaser audience is now expecting from you the review of the film "Lourdes"...

Forgive me _Hide_, it’s nothing personal; you're surely a decent and nice guy, genuinely passionate about this music, but I refused to read this long-winded mess after just a few lines (besides being immediately horrified by the TBT). It doesn’t make any sense, there are grammatical and punctuation errors, but above all, <Pentecoste 3> what is that, a new album that only you have but which slipped past us? Because I know at most Pentecost III. Huh?!? Also, the story of the vocal change between Darren White (whom you don’t mention at all) and Vincent Cavanagh isn’t as simple as you hinted, but I certainly won’t be the one to explain it to you. Now, I can tolerate youthful enthusiasm when it comes to censorship, but please pay more attention next time before associating (and destroying) certain masterpieces!! R.I.P.

I renew my vows, Fiero: first, because you write well; and then, because you offer the opportunity to discover a new genre to those, like me, who don’t share your cultural background in this field. Also, I have played grindcore with some bands from my area (because playing the bass makes me a highly sought-after musical whore for various groups, always dealing with the same old problems of bassist and drummer shortages) and I can assure the detractors how rich and complex the pieces can be, even those that last only seven seconds, from a technical and arrangement standpoint! Finally, DeBaser is almost perfect, come on, the problem is that, like in all things... there’s always someone who takes themselves too seriously. Sorry if I went on a bit. R.I.P.
