this book that broke my bones (years ago) and I never had the courage to read it again. After 1984, I could no longer dream. Sad but true... (I don’t vote)

Alright, the "medal" underwear, but you’re dressed like a cummenda!!! :) It’s true... cummenda looks really slagg.

I've been listening to this album for a couple of days, different from my usual listens, and I'm convinced it’ll take me a few more spins to fully absorb it. In the meantime, I have two impressions: 1) it feels like a (almost) copy-and-paste job from Battiato, starting with the title that reminds me so much of "L'ombrello e la macchina da cucire," and extending to many seemingly nonsensical passages in the lyrics, alongside arrangements blending guitar rock that never fully explodes and keyboards that ultimately pack very little bite, much like in "L'imboscata" or "Gommalacca" by the Sicilian singer-songwriter. 2) I find the political correctness of the lyrics irritating, which seem written for "pariolini" (see the otherwise nice "Tornerai qui"), and the plasticity of the sounds, where you can really feel the influence of Consoli (whom I personally detest...but that doesn’t count). Max is a great musician; he should dare more.
