It depends on what one is looking for in a concert, you know. I've always admired artists who play their albums live just like on the record, not to mention that it shows they have some serious guts, because I don’t want musicians interacting with the audience; I like to be a spectator of a ritual, an intruder spying on people who play primarily for themselves rather than putting on a 'we'll amaze you with special effects' show. Encores often annoy me too; it’s clear that many musicians feel constrained by them, or they turn into unrestrained self-celebration. It’s a matter of perspective, anyway.

But "that fish-faced slut Kristen Dunst" is my ideal woman.
