Until proven otherwise, you are doing this right now. You may not like them, for heaven's sake, but a basic understanding of the evolution of rock from the fifties to today should clear up any doubt about the importance of some bands. Then, what can I say, I may be the arrogant one, but at least I dump the heaps of crap on the reviews of Vomitory.

FedeIZimbra: you, and a few others. You can be five, seven, or ten of you, you can create all the fakes in the world to reiterate that this stuff sucks, but you’re still just a couple of cats. And save your catchy lines like "I listen to music," it seemed redundant to specify we were talking about music. I would have done that speaking to a seven-year-old to explain who the VU were. Now, the only difference between two bands like the VU and Uriah Heep is that the former also have historical significance, the latter don't, and if they had never existed, nothing would have changed. Do you understand? It's an added value. There’s the music, but not only that. You can prefer whatever you want, even Suzi Quatro, but your arguments are like hand-painted, winged matryoshka dolls filled with fine guano.

I don't think the Velvet Underground on this album are open to criticism; I understand provocation up to a point, but we’re not talking about the Drim Fiata(r) here. The provocation doesn’t hold up simply because the historical importance of the band in question is undeniable, let’s be clear; only Fedezimzumzam dares to take a shot, now reduced to praising DeFinizioni di Pannzzoone (or other monsters like ottakku), and a few others.

"While the voice of a guy tells an engaging (lasts eight minutes) and entertaining story on the left channel." The guy, for the record, would be John Cale. Great choice, but the review is basically your worst ever. Then the rest of the page is also forgettable. The album, on the other hand, you won't forget even if you try.
