Fair point. I said something dumb, but not too much: how many of those who go to download high bitrate mp3s actually have decent speakers/setups? Anyway, okay, let's say I based my comment mostly on my current situation (temporarily improvised speakers) and that’s that. One other note: from how I wrote it, it seems like there's no melody at all. I was lying.

The blood scene killed me. I collapsed on the ground for two days. Great movie, but it would be nice to discuss the (possible) points of reflection. I also thought of an interpretation, a bit far-fetched, rather "personal": the trapdoor where the protagonist hides is the emblem of his intimacy, of his inner world, and allowing others to enter it would have served to save himself and his loved ones from the drama... But maybe not, because sharing one's emotions doesn't prevent natural disasters. I don't know.

No no, Radiohead are definitely pop. The problem is that "pop" has different meanings, and on DeBaser, it's always synonymous with crap. Even Husker Du with "New Day Rising," along with its "sequel," etc., can be considered pop upon closer inspection. However, in this new work by Radiohead, there's not much pop—just a few melodies (see the concluding "Separator"—as I've already mentioned, in my opinion, one of the best of the bunch), but for the rest, the song structure is completely absent, just as there is a lack of melody (as noted above), accompanied by a great deal of harmonic dryness. Anyway, I refrained from voting for it—I mention this also in response to azzo's observations—precisely because I believe that, particularly in this case (with them), physical media is absolutely essential (also because at the moment I'm without speakers for my computer and I've temporarily devised a not-so-reliable workaround that's not exactly suited for music playback). I prefer to wait for the box set with confidence, as I always favor physical media to be played on a proper system rather than through computer speakers, which, no matter how many high-bitrate files you gather, are worthless: they'll always be played through two crappy speakers. In short, in an album like this, made mostly of sounds and less of songs, it is necessary. Even if we're not talking about Autechre.

I don’t agree with anyone on anything. In fact, it’s true that the dubbing isn’t the best and there are logical inconsistencies (the coffin used for the overhead shots, for example, is shamelessly deep), but I think the film deserves a passing grade for its ideas and screenplay. Some of the questions raised on this page seem easily dismantled: the cell phone, for example, is not used at all for 90 minutes, and even if it were as stated, its duration would depend on the battery’s status – I can say that in the past I’ve had conversations lasting 4 (four) consecutive hours; as for the oxygen... now, I’m not a geologist, but you yourself, Punisher, before asking why this never seemed to end, mentioned those “fissures,” which, although surrounded by earth/sand, were not situated at great depths – and on that note, Bartle, just one meter of earth/sand on top of the coffin, I imagine, exerts considerable pressure on it, which should not be underestimated, especially if to apply an opposing force (that of someone pushing upwards to pull themselves out) one has to break this lid (not to mention the risk associated with a partial breach - which ultimately leads to the film's epilogue); as for the “neon in the pocket,” it’s clear that these were placed there by the same people who kidnapped the protagonist, to allow the execution of the video that was meant to serve for the ransom demand. That said, despite some contradictions and a few unexpected clichés (the ending), I found it compelling for a film set entirely in a coffin. The review is really nice, though, but, jokes aside, not like Belpietro, like Martufello...

Could all the boredom you refer to in 70% of your comments, Puli, possibly stem from a problem of yours? The film, anyway, whether it's cliché or not, is a pleasure to watch. Midisun, and if we give a 1 to this film, what do we give to Moccia's filmography?

The cover perfectly reflects what it conceals: a work of art.

Sure, you are one of those (you yourself claimed to have listened to it three times), but I don't feel like I can say that I know you. I only know that you have a blog and some fakes.

Thank you for the suggestion, but, of course, even a bear like me knows what a movie at the cinema is like!
