Having seen the first two during a period when I was more or less forced to immerse myself in "horror" culture. Can you believe it, Madcat, there's a sequel coming out every year for this stuff now. Anyway, who knows. Little films. Although, deep down, they are engaging enough, maybe the first one a bit more.

@Santoro77: a) I was a kid; b) it was fun; c) this is not metal (so I don't see what the parentheses have to do with it). The discussion about "Nothing Else Matters" (I could play that one too :D), which I actually have no interest in, I think goes like this: Metallica positioned themselves one way and then radically changed their attitude. The Extreme, on the other hand, I don’t think ever had the chance to overestimate themselves or to stand as champions of whatever; they took themselves for what they were and remained true to their line and, indeed, contrary to (I believe) the decline of Metallica, the "adult" Extreme, after this "Pornograffitti", had the opportunity to challenge themselves instead of compromising, by dedicating themselves to a somewhat more demanding and courageous (within the limits of the context we are in, as far as I’m concerned - but certainly less canonical and riskier = less "radio-friendly") record than the previous ones, that is "Three Sides to Every Story", thus evolving instead of regressing. Then yes, there is some tackiness, but that is inherent in the environment being discussed, but that’s how it is if you think so. For the rest, the same goes for the aforementioned "Appetite for Destruction", to which, consistently, I also give no less than four stars. I think there is better out there, but that's another story...

Youthful sins... (I should still know how to play "Decadence Dance," guitar solo included!)

Anyway, he doesn't seem to me like the messiah, nor the first of the bastards (which in reality I am). Cured meats.

Your best. And I'm not joking. For reviewed and containing bullshit, it really is your best. Except for some (one?) "extra-review" cases. For Hendrix, the five is fixed. And then this single is taken from his album that I should prefer.

If you hadn't beat me to it, I would have done it myself. I had been thinking about it for a while, but I’m currently suffering from a decline in DeRecensoreo desire, and since, as you know, I'm not a good writer unless assisted by a good spherical banana that stimulates me in the writing process, I was forced to postpone. Nothing transcendental, however, just a nice little disc, even perfect, given the expectations and intentions, but I find the "second part" less impactful. "Seven" - aided by an almost perfect melodic line and a great visionary atmosphere that's a bit humanistic - is my favorite. And I believe she is better off this way, alone, rather than alongside her counterpart, as I had the opportunity to write in the DeFinizione.
