You can criticize as much as you want, but the first two albums were quite listenable. In fact, considering the various Arctic Monkeys that were dominant at the time, they were also appreciated in the mainstream circuit where they operated. If that were the only issue... The fact that I won't even get this is another story, but the first two were fine. Oh, I believe Casablancas explicitly said, "we're coming back just for the money," or something like that. We should reward honesty too (?), in defiance of various Britney Spears who claim to be singers and think they can do any kind of research before (having someone) write lyrics for them.
