FOR ME, THE ALBUM IS UNDERVALUED; THE ONLY ISSUE IS THAT EVER SINCE DOOLITTLE, EVERYONE HAS ALWAYS EXPECTED ANOTHER SURFER ROSA OR ANOTHER DOOLITTLE. ANYWAY, YES, UNDERVALUED, BUT IT DOES HAVE SOME FLAWS. THE REVIEW, ON THE OTHER HAND, IS JUST MEANINGLESS, WHATEVER THAT MEANS.

a good record and an unmissable heavy ballad to close. personally, I don't practice this stuff anymore, but it really sounded badass/angry. a great reference for genre lovers and good review (maybe a bit biased)

absolutely underrated. great pop album, more than brit. but for the people and for the critics, pop is just u2 and coldplay, so fuck it. the review is a bit thrown together, hasty, but if I didn't know the album in question, you would have piqued my interest. I give you four to raise the average. even the five for the work is contextualized, but it remains almost impeccable, very pleasant and long-lasting, worth indulging in multiple times.

I completely agree with the reviewer, especially when it comes to separating the EP from any potential connection with Surfer Rosa. It's a grand debut and, although the EP is a collection of demos, I find it cohesively enjoyable. It is the most stripped-down album by the Pixies, in which Black gifts us, among other things, some of his best vocal performances, showcasing a voice that will become 'thicker' over time (thus also an interesting testimony from a vocal standpoint). The review couldn't be more spot-on, precise, and well-written. The five are still contextualized; there are fundamental works (perhaps even Surfer Rosa itself) that would fully deserve it.

short on time? technically, you say? for me, it's just a GREAT black voice, one of the best our country has had. to stargazer, I say that anyone can talk about his death and it would turn out, sooner or later, to be prophetic. rino was, but not in this case, unless they brought his corpse cursing.
