Thomas Vinterberg Il sospetto
Voto:
I really enjoyed this movie, despite some extremes that may be dictated by the message the director wants to convey or the insufficient time available to elaborate on certain situations. Nevertheless, these are details, because in reality everything works, and Mikkelsen's performance is outstanding.
Tom Waits Alice
Voto:
I don't like everything by Waits, and this album also falls into the category of the less appreciated, but the title track is breathtakingly beautiful.
David Gilmour Rattle That Lock

I was just wondering what Aeneas had to do with Gilmour. What don't those big doe eyes of a maiden do... But one mustn't lie! I always tell the truth, even when I tell lies! Quotation.

Ahahah the Rich and the Poor with Duke Ellington and Brian Auger, I thought it was a fantasy tale ...
The Rolling Stones Their Satanic Majesties Request
Voto:
This is a good record, but it's true that it’s not very Stones. In this case, I feel inclined to round down, precisely because they do their best when they immerse themselves in the blues. From the subsequent album, they indeed kick off a series of masterpieces and great albums that have few comparisons in rock. I won't rate the review because it adds little to the previous ones, and I'm sure you can do better. It's normal; I was also too pedantic and less spontaneous in my early days.
Robert Plant Fate of Nations

Let's assume you're a serious user and not a fake (or a fake of a fake, as many observe). Anyway, you start with a comparison between two singers who are completely different from each other in terms of musical genre and vocal style. You continue with a discussion that is based solely on vocal range, neglecting everything else that a voice can offer. But above all... where is the review of the album in question? No one can take away my most sincere opinion. The album, for me, is very valid, but it's true that Plant's solo career has not been spectacular. Honest, though, and with some excellent works like this one.
Alexander Payne Nebraska
Voto:
Great film. I thought it might bore me, but it has its own rhythm. The black and white is spot on, but I’d say everything works in general.
Jeff Nichols Take Shelter
Voto:
Really beautiful film, both from the directing and acting perspective. I was hesitant to give it the fifth star... I held back.

The Count returning to the typewriter? Let's lend the other ear then!
J.J. Cale Stay Around

Indeed, I only know Naturally. It's a really great album anyway. And let's thank him for Call me the breeze, but the Lynyrd's cover is better. Take that!
