Rory Gallagher Deuce

For me, a 3.5 that I gladly round up to 4. He’s a phenomenal guitarist who gives his best in Irish Tour. Damn it though! You didn't mention "crest of a wave," a piece I consider the most beautiful on the album.

Personally, I prefer the real thing, but this is also a great record. Although I’m not a big fan of Patton post-FNM, the guy definitely knows his stuff.

Very nice album, too bad it didn't have a follow-up. Gustafson is an excellent bassist and has also played in the Ian Gillan Band, of which I particularly like "Clear Air Turbulence".
Morgoth Feel Sorry For The Fanatic

But what the hell are you trying to sell us? Good job, anyway!

I finally managed to read this book. There's no denying it, it's really great, although quite challenging and raw. The ending, however, is not "very clear" to me.
Anthony Minghella The English Patient
Voto:
Perhaps a bit too romantic for my taste, but undeniably well-made and acted. A long film, but absolutely not boring, at least for those who are not used to action movies. Finally, I wanted to say hello to mom and dad who have always believed in me!
Def Leppard Pyromania

No doubts, this album rocks and is their masterpiece. One of the gospels of melodic hard rock. The review is decent, but from my point of view, it's too technical and not personal enough. The track-by-track analysis says little to nothing; you could have skipped it.
Cormac McCarthy Oltre Il Confine
Voto:
What I particularly appreciate about McCarthy is his writing, so evocative and poetic, and the stories that are never trivial. In the trilogy, I also find that at times it can feel a bit meandering and may be boring, yet the fact remains that I would recommend it to anyone.
The Black Crowes Shake Your Money Maker
Voto:
Great crows! Among my favorite Southerners, their first three albums are a must-have.
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin III
Voto:
To Zeppelin 5 regardless. This is an amazing album, but for my tastes, it's ruined by the track Hats Off to Roy Harper. Masterpieces like Immigrant Song and Since I've Been Loving You still make me forget it, though. There's no denying it, Led Zeppelin might not have invented anything and they may have borrowed from others as some say (I would rather call it typical blues reinterpretations), but damn: WHAT A SOUND! Page was such a badass. He is the mastermind behind that hard and "falsely rough" sound, achieved through simple yet creative mic'ing techniques, which gives me chills with every listen. This is what makes the difference because countless other bands of the era had the quality and technique.
