The Jeff Healey Band Hell to Pay
Voto:
A heartfelt and well-written review. I obviously appreciate Healey as a musician, but the blues I love is the harder and rawer kind. This should be among his best, I might dust it off.
Rory Gallagher Rory Gallagher

A still somewhat immature disc, in terms of sound and blending, but full of great ideas. Rory's guitar, on the other hand, is already mature and unstoppable. Great review.
Jeff Buckley Grace
Voto:
I have listened to thousands of records from various genres, but Grace remains the most precious of them all. I bought it even before it started to gain a bit of commercial success, and I fell in love with it instantly. It’s among the few albums I always listen to, constantly, on any occasion or in any mood. Just be careful not to underestimate Jeff Buckley as an instrumentalist. He was first and foremost an excellent guitarist and a connoisseur of music. It was only later that he discovered he had that otherworldly voice. The voice of angels.

Those 3 are also in my top 5. Great review that encapsulates anecdotes that excellently depict the character.
Steely Dan Pretzel Logic
Voto:
Together with the debut, it’s my favorite of the group. Classy pop rock, as only Supertramp could pull off at the time. IMHO.
The Youngbloods Elephant Mountain

Interesting. I know a beautiful cover of Darkness, Darkness done by His Majesty Robert Plant.
Robin Trower Twice Removed From Yesterday

I was on the lookout for potential records to review, no need to add more here. Great review for a fantastic debut. And what a voice Dewar!!!
Steely Dan Can't Buy A Thrill
Voto:
Wow, I had never been by here? My favorite alongside Pretzel Logic. Huge Steely Dan.

Very beautiful album that grows with each listen. It seems to me that he didn't repeat himself with the last one, though.

I was hesitant after the passing of Tim Smith, but this is a really great album. My favorite remains the previous one, The Courage of Others.
