Voto:
Yeah, great album, even though I prefer the Samurai. The review is excellent too.
The Cure Tour 2022
Voto:
Absolutely huge up to Wish. Disintegration and Pornography are masterpieces, as far as I'm concerned. I saw them live only once, during the Bloodflowers tour, and they were still in great shape. Now, honestly, I wouldn't know. It seems to me that they've had their time, even though there's always curiosity about the new album.
Manuel Agnelli Ama il prossimo tuo come te stesso
Voto:
As far as I'm concerned, from Hai paura del buio to Ballate per piccole iene, Afterhours have written great chapters of Italian rock. That said, it seems to me that Agnelli has lost his fire in recent years, and in the songs I've heard from this album, it's actually the vocals that are the weak point. There's a lack of anger, a lack of feeling; it feels like acting. Yet musically, the material was there.

It's always nice to read enthusiasm. I must admit that I much prefer the previous one. Here, there's definitely research, ideas, and a desire to experiment with something new. But then, a sense of balance is also needed. And that fine line, which for many might be set further ahead, for me has been greatly crossed. In the end, I can't manage to listen to this whole album. And I'm quite used to listening to challenging material.
Verdena Volevo Magia
Voto:
Excellent review for an album that, upon first listen, disappointed me. But with them, I experienced one of the few musical rethinkings (read: Wow), so it’s only fair to give it a few more tries, even if here there’s no distraction that that work presented.
Suede Autofiction
Voto:
The single hadn't excited me and I was doubtful, but actually the album reveals itself with the usual good quality. Not among their best, it's a 3.5 that I gladly round up. I'm sorry that for the second single they choose another so-so song. My favorites are Personality Disorder, Black Ice, and Shadow Self. Even the closing track is great.
The Mars Volta The Mars Volta
Voto:
I repeat here my first impression: cloying. And not only because it has nothing to do with the Mars Volta we remember, but precisely because it struck me as embarrassingly flat. I've read various positive reviews of the album, but this is my impression.
The Beatles The White Album
Voto:
ok boomer: you are a exquisite mix of ego delusion, haughtiness, a know-it-all attitude, barroom philosophy, and clichés.
Don Winslow Città in fiamme

I have also read and greatly enjoyed both The Power of the Dog and The Cartel. I believe this is also an interesting story to add to my list for later.
Friedrich Dürrenmatt Il sospetto
Voto:
I'm not in a novel phase, as I've recently changed jobs and fields, so I have to "study." However, I am officially intrigued and I'm adding it to my list; it should be a read for me.
