Muse Origin Of Symmetry
Voto:
Those who criticize Muse and this album don't understand a damn thing about music. It may not appeal to you, I'll grant that, because everyone has their own tastes. But it cannot be denied that Muse are excellent, original, and inspired musicians. So you can refrain from commenting, but don't write nonsense. Muse are great, and this album is their masterpiece, as well as one of the best albums of the last twenty years.

Absolutely amazing album! Dreamy atmospheres and a voice that can be both intimate and heartfelt. The next one unfortunately isn't even close to these levels. They will bounce back with the next one. Nevertheless, "Love is here" remains one of the best albums of the last decade.
Landberk Indian Summer

Congratulations on the review. Great Landberk! I certainly prefer "One man tell's another," but this album is also valid. Great Anglagard as well ("Hybris" above all) and Anekdoten ("From within" above all). A rebirth of prog.

Congratulations on the review! For me, this is one of the absolute masterpieces of progressive music. Anglagard, along with Landberk and Anekdoten, have revived this genre. I recommend "One man tell's another" by Landberk and "From within" by Anekdoten. Don’t expect clones; each of the two bands has its own peculiarities.

Cornell, really over the top. This is a really great album. Better than many Pearl Jam albums, which I do appreciate for the first 3 records (only the first is a masterpiece). The singer's voice is similar to Vedder's, it's true, but not identical as you want to make it seem. And the music has nothing to do with Pearl Jam at all. Rather, change your nickname, since dear Cornell has lost his mind in the meantime, even though he was a great singer and musician...
A-Ha Scoundrel Days

Beautiful album, just like the previous one "Hunting High and Low." A-ha are one of my favorite bands from the 80s, along with The Cure and Depeche Mode, and they have definitely been underrated. But that's a rule of showbiz. Go A-ha!

Great review and a fantastic album. However, I don't agree with the judgment on "Mercy," which for me might even be superior. The sounds are certainly more contemporary, given the production and ... the 8 years that have passed.
Jeff Buckley Grace
Voto:
Congratulations on the review. This album is my all-time favorite. Music and poetry at the highest levels. Beyond my personal opinion, what I don’t understand are certain judgments. I don’t believe it’s possible to criticize this album. One might not like the genre, but the quality is absolutely top-notch. Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen, and even Tim Buckley have been evoked: personally, I believe that none of these great artists can come close to the emotions that Jeff manages to convey in "Grace." And I'm not just talking about vocal technique or musical inspiration. I’m talking about "mood." This album is special, and perhaps that’s why Jeff himself took so long to release its follow-up. Maybe it was impossible to surpass such perfection. Although Sketches (the first album) is also a great album.
