Shadow Gallery Shadow Gallery
Voto:
Images & Words is a masterpiece, this Shadow Gallery could have been one with a better production. Beyond that, it's a great album; they won’t reach these levels again even though the last two still have some great tracks.

Nice review and a great album even though it’s excessively raw and heavy. I prefer Time's up because it's more varied. They are great musicians anyway, I’ve seen them live and they definitely deserve it.

Great review and one of the most original albums in Italian alternative music. I remember when I bought it, nobody knew it; now it seems to have become a cult record. Anyway, well done Marlene Kuntz.
Afterhours Ballate Per Piccole Iene

Beautiful review. I discovered them with Quello che non c'è and then I went back listening to their earlier works, which I don’t really like much. I agree that with Ballate they reached their peak. It’s their best album, slightly better than Quello che non c'è.
Kingdom Come In Your Face

The review deserves a 1 for the simple fact that you're saying an immense nonsense: the first album by Kingdom Come is a masterpiece. Sure, they draw inspiration from 70s sounds, like most rock bands today, and maybe in some songs the singer emulates Plant. But no one who has listened to it can say it's not a great album. And I’m a huge fan of the Dirigibile ...

I find it ridiculous to criticize an album like this. But tastes are tastes. My 4 is a nearly 5. But this album has absolute value, with the only slightly inferior track for me being Feelin hot. For the rest, great inspiration and some fantastic pieces (Whisper a prayer for the dying, Waiting on you, and Take me for a little while above all).

Congratulations on the review. I completely agree, it's a truly outstanding album. They haven't reached these levels again. But the previous Moving Target is really beautiful as well.

The review is very nice and so is the album. 1994 was truly a great year. If I’m not mistaken, it also included Images and Words by Dream Theater, Welcome to Sky Valley by Kyuss, Hybris by Anglagard ... and many others.

Well, it seems to me that everything has already been said. This is a great record and even for me superior to Blues for the red sun. Dirty, acid hard rock, with a slight sprinkle of dreamy melody. Dear old Josh, why didn’t you stay with them?

Great album, definitely their best. After this, they lost their minds... after all, just look at the faces Thom Yorke makes... I only save Hail to the Thief.
