But excuse me, who do you think you are? Are you the bully of the moment coming to defend your friend? I find Antonio rather annoying with the way he responds. He has questioned my upbringing, but he hasn't shown any of his own in this or in other discussions I've read.

I also want to clarify here: hate is a strong word and it doesn’t belong in my vocabulary, I clicked "amemistasuibal" and that perfectly describes the feeling. :)

Personally, I also believe that this is an overrated album and I consider it the least beautiful of Radiohead's production. It is certainly a gamble, an experiment that is also commendable but not very well executed. The tracks tend to be boring in the long run. My favorite albums remain The Bends and Ok Computer, but I also appreciate Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief from the "second phase."
Deep Purple Machine Head

I agree that this is the ultimate album by Deep Purple. Perhaps the excluded When a blind man cries could have made it more complete. But it remains a masterpiece. Tracks like Highway Star, Pictures of Home, and Maybe I'm a Leo are true lessons in hard rock. The review is also good, well done.

Antonio, I don’t see how the fact of having written reviews or not matters. Also because I didn’t criticize this one, if you read what I wrote again. It’s likely that I’ve said some irritating things for Tim fans, but I’ve never been offensive unless I was attacked first. I hope you agree with this. It’s normal for the comments not to align because they were exclusively answered by Tim fans. But on the other hand, I had only asked to debate, to have someone explain to me what they found in Tim's music, and few responded on that aspect. Everyone immediately attacks whoever dares to discuss the omnipotent. And it doesn’t matter what is being questioned. Let’s get rid of the heretic. As for how I seemed like a know-it-all, I simply expressed what I think, what I listen to, what I like to hear when I listen to music. I certainly didn’t say that Lorca is worth 3-4 Grace or that Uriah Heep are worthless. Did I perhaps say that Tim Buckley isn’t worth anything? So, if you’re interested, reread the discussion and you might realize that I’m not the one who attacked, but the opposite. I shared my opinion and asked for others. If you’ve read the other controversies I had on Debaser, you’ll notice they always arose from insults directed at me or at the artists/albums I like. I didn’t come in here and say “Tim Buckley” is garbage. Other people did that in those discussions. Finally, I wanted to apologize to you; my comment was meant to be a joke. I too got a bit annoyed after a while; I was looking for a discussion and not a controversy. Although I see that everyone interpreted it as such. And you’ll admit that you certainly didn’t help me. It felt more like entering a temple for the few chosen ones. Best wishes to everyone for a happy new year.

Larrok, watch out, I’m taking back the compliments about Hybris, okay! :D
I consider progressive to be a niche in rock, which is why I mentioned it separately.
However, I’ve already written that I did it to highlight that my comments were not about the song structure.
The Cure Disintegration
Voto:
This is definitely the most beautiful album they have made, where everything is perfect (inspiration, music, and recording). Not as claustrophobic as Pornography, although it is the other masterpiece by the Cure. I must say that the entire production is worth listening to, but here they reach the peak of lyricism and inspiration. The dark as I understand it.

Hymnen, you just said the most ridiculous thing of all. Yet you had made some serious comments up to now. I hope, but only for you, that it slipped out just because your sensitivity as a Tim enthusiast was hurt. Take a deep breath and come to your senses. Best wishes to the whole club.
Placebo Without You I'm Nothing
Voto:
I’ll start by saying that I didn’t like Placebo's first self-titled album; I only salvaged I know and a bit more. However, Without You I'm Nothing is one of the most beautiful albums I’ve listened to in the last decade. And I can't quite explain why. Molko's voice is stunning, even if limited. But it's the timbre that makes the difference. The music is raw, furious, the atmospheres are dark, definitely an intriguing sonic blend. I don’t agree that all the albums sound the same. Sure, they are immediately recognizable, but they have always added something to their sound. I wasn’t very fond of Black Market Music either, but the three following albums are definitely valid (Meds above all). Along with Muse, they are among the most interesting "modern" bands.
