Certainly well-played album, the band is indeed excellent, but I have always had difficulty with Graziani's voice.

The guitars of Def Leppard, at least up to Pyromania, are pure NWOBHM. What tempers and gives the perception of the pop factor are their choruses and especially the backing vocals. In any case, Pyromania and Hysteria are, for me, great albums; the genre frankly interests me relatively.

Never listened to this album, but I stopped with them after Adrenalize, which I already liked just a little. However, I can say that I consider Hysteria and Pyromania to be two great albums, where the "pop" aspect wasn't yet predominant. Anyway, your analyses are always remarkable, even though our tastes don’t always align.

There’s something I like about Hellacopters and Backyard Babes; it could be an interesting listen. However, on YouTube, there's a self-titled album that I'm not too convinced about in terms of sound. And it's well known that in this particular genre, sound makes a big difference.
