A coherent sentence, I can't believe it!! And what would you want to offend then? If you haven't made an intervention that could even offend the sensitivity of a serial killer...

he didn't understand it either, what do you want me to explain?

Come on, be careful not to explode... with me your time is only well spent, even just for teaching you a bit of Italian... So debating, you seem more like a gang of ultras than true music enthusiasts.

I took Lorca in its original form, with my eyes closed. Starsailor and Happy Sad I just downloaded (can I say that?). And I listened to them in full. Not many times, I admit, because they didn’t excite me. I will insist. For the rest, I don’t want to convince anyone. I’ve expressed my thoughts and I certainly don’t presume to say that "this is so just because I say so." As many of you do, however. Are the arguments perhaps "it’s not up for discussion," "this is unassertable," "inconceivable," etc.? Fortunately, I haven't reached those levels of egocentrism yet. It’s written "I assert this," did you or the few of you decide that something is "unassertable"? Contemplation, you seem really full of yourself.

I wanted to give it 5 stars to boost the average, but then I decided to give it what this album truly deserves: a solid 4. I consider it one of the best albums he has made as a solo artist, after Pictures at Eleven (beautiful) and alongside Dreamland. He was the best frontman of the seventies, but he managed to reinvent himself as a solo artist. It's true that he doesn't hit the high notes like he used to, but he can still deliver that feeling. A piece of advice: if you get the chance, go see him live, because it's worth it, especially if he's accompanied by the Strange Sensation.

I thank Lucypher for confirming what I already knew: I didn't want to open a controversy, but a debate. And thanks also to Alfredo for trying to soften the tones. But I've read worse in other reviews. The important thing is not to end up insulting each other; it happens everywhere these days. Cornell's comment is interesting. However, I don't believe that a musician's skill can be measured by the number of albums they've produced. And the fact that Jeff wasn't happy with his new pieces was, unfortunately, just a personal issue of his character. Sketches is beautiful. After all, Jeff discarded a masterpiece like Forget Her from Grace ... Perhaps he was just obsessed with perfection. As for the discussion on octaves, there's no way to explore it deeply. More knowledgeable people than us have debated it. It is said that the maximum vocal range in classical singing is four octaves. If Jeff was a high lyric tenor, he had about three and a half. Not counting falsetto, which is not considered in classical technique. I haven't delved into Tim; it was just a comment I heard. I also don't doubt that he employed good musicians, but I don't put technique ahead of music. Well played and all, but not very varied. I repeat, from my point of view. Genius is genius, and I agree. But so is Jeff, and I completely disagree that in musical terms, Jeff's music is as you say. For me, it’s true the opposite. One could listen without the voice, although no one would dare give up a voice like Jeff's. Regarding the covers, that’s where Jeff's art lay. He managed to make them entirely his own and even render them better than the originals. Many talk about Hallelujah, but they forget Lilac Wine. The most successful. Anyway, Cornell, I respect your opinion, and I will continue to listen to Tim as you suggest. I have often changed my mind about certain artists and/or albums. However, it has rarely happened that I can listen to albums that continuously give me new emotions like Grace and Sketches.
Fates Warning A Pleasant Shade Of Grey
Voto:
This album is definitely something special, but Fates Warning manage to create beautiful atmospheres. Technically, they are undeniable; I’ve seen them live and they are truly impeccable. I also really like Ray Alder's vocals, not just for his voice, but for the way he often doesn't follow the song's rhythm. And then there's Kevin Moore, in my opinion one of the most inspired keyboardists in the genre, who always manages to bring that extra something. Well done!
Mountain Nantucket Sleighride

This album comes close to being a masterpiece. I consider it superior to the first one. Nantucket Sleighride is a chilling piece. The review deserves a solid 5 just for mentioning the underrated Leaf Hound. Great!

Don't worry, it's relaxation for me too. I actually like that option. And it's not so bad to feel like a kid sometimes. But I repeat, I don't intend to "hate" anyone, "amemistasuibal" is way more fun. ;D
