Kansas Leftoverture
Voto:
I love Kansas, and for me, this album is the best of their production, second only to the legendary live "Two for the Show."
Yes The Yes Album

After "Fragile," my favorite album by Yes. The review is good. I'm joining the comic discussion late: Mister No remains one of the best characters in Italian comics, as does Nathan Never. They are the most original characters, among the few to be "human," and both series have managed to evolve and not fall into "monotony."

Thank you again.

An album I will never stop listening to. Perhaps not a masterpiece, but this band was the epitome of genuine rock. The subsequent "Soup" is also very nice. Congratulations on the review.

Beautiful review for an essential album. In my opinion, the best of the "trilogy." A special mention to "Refugee," which is a song of unique lyricism.

I agree, I wouldn't spend 65 Euros on a record either. The Paatos are not bad, but only in their first album "Timeloss" do they remind me of Landberk. For me, there's no comparison anyway.

I am a bit surprised that the album is so little known and sometimes even underappreciated. Not just for personal taste, but also because I remember it being acclaimed by both critics and the progressive public at the time. Of course, seeing it at those prices on various sites is disheartening. In all these years, I have never stopped listening to it, and so has my brother, who is the true connoisseur of the genre.

I agree that the Landberk proposal is lighter compared to their countrymen. But a 3.5 for the work seems too low to me. Personally, considering the average quality of the three works produced, I prefer them to both Anglagard and Anekdoten. Even though "Hybris" probably remains the most beautiful album.

Thank you, guys. I'm not an expert in the genre, but the 90s Swedish prog scene is the most inspired thing I've heard in the last 20 years. Schizoid, if you don't know Anekdoten, I recommend "From Within" and "Vemod."
Queensrÿche Operation Mindcrime

Well, in your own way you provided an explanation that I don’t agree with. First of all, I don’t believe that Queensryche make "artificial and exaggerated use of technique." On the contrary, that’s precisely why they have never been considered a prog-metal band. And I’d like to suggest that you broaden your musical horizons a bit more; not all embellishments and frills are purely self-serving or meant to showcase the technique of progressive bands. As you say, everyone has their own tastes, but you have clear preconceptions that limit you.
