I didn't know them. I listened to the first track and two immediate thoughts came to me: what a stunning Hammond sound (at the beginning) and holy crap, what an amazing drummer. I'll listen to it calmly.
Leonard Cohen You Want It Darker

Beautiful review for an album that didn't impress me on the first and only listen. But a second attempt is always worth it with Cohen.

It’s missing "anger becomes rust and makes noise." It fit well.

Had I never passed by here? A remedy. The record is great and so is the review.
Robin Trower Bridge Of Sighs

I have never changed my rating for this work, which has grown immensely over time and with each listen. I do it now. Masterpiece.
Rory Gallagher Blueprint

I understand that you are a fan, but in reviews of this kind, a minimum of objectivity is necessary. And this is clearly the weakest album of the first phase of our beloved. Crushed between masterpieces like Deuce and Tattoo. I’ll round down this time.
Sam Mendes American Beauty

I will not vote for that movie. It's like a mustard stain on a white dress. As for the rest, I remember a very beautiful film with a Spacey still at his peak. Let's say that during that time, ever since the Price of Hollywood, he was my favorite actor.
Rory Gallagher Jinx

Another excellent album from our Irish gem. I'm rounding up excessively because making music like this back then wasn't easy.
Bert Jansch Birthday Blues

Probably my favorite of hers. I acknowledge her guitar skills and the influence she had on the mentioned singer-songwriters; however, the records produced don't excite me like a Five Leaves Left or a Solid Air. How do you say? Great, but not excellent.
