The Soundtrack Of Our Lives Behind The Music
Voto:
A record I had shamefully left in the "to listen" list, perhaps precisely because of the band's pompous name. Yet here I find an excellent work that draws from the past with modern sounds and an assertive style. Healthy and honest rock'n'roll with catchy melodies and no noticeable drops.

Album discovered by chance that I found really beautiful. Despite its length, with 20 tracks in total, there is a great quality and variety of styles. There are no real throwaways, but if they had condensed the best songs into a single album, it would have emerged as a true masterpiece.

They were absolutely huge throughout the 70s and right up to Deguello. Here, they begin their decline, despite the last hurrah of Eliminator, which doesn't excite me much due to its plastic sound. Anyway, maximum respect for their career.
DGM Change Direction
Voto:
I believe I have heard the DGM in the past, when I was into the genre, which probably peaked during those years. However, I don’t remember them. Do you remember the Midian instead? Also from Italy and somewhat indebted to Queensryche, but with a certain originality mainly due to the consistent use of the violin. It's a shame they disappeared right after their debut album. I’ll leave a piece, in case it piques your curiosity.

I also had the built-in floppy... #gnegne Olivetti PC1. Uh!
Graveyard Hisingen Blues

The first three albums are all very beautiful, but if I have to choose, this is my favorite. First of all, because the average quality of the songs is higher, but honestly, unlike many here, I think they found the right sound here, more suitable for their style.
Red Temple Spirits If Tomorrow I Were Leaving for Lhasa, I Wouldn't Stay a Minute More...
Voto:
The first is one of my favorites in the genre, but strangely I've never listened to the second, perhaps influenced by criticism and comparisons. It’s definitely time to remedy that, wow, with three weeks of vacation...
Robben Ford Truth
Voto:
Yes, he is very good. I'm not familiar with this album, but I've heard a couple of very good ones from that period. You described it very well; he probably hasn't written masterpieces, but it's always a pleasure to listen to him.

Did you manage not to talk about "Analfabetizzazione"? How did you do it?
The Who The Who by Numbers
Voto:
I'm not a huge fan of The Who. I've always found them overrated, even though Who's Next is a masterpiece and Live at Leeds is a great, intense live album. Like PPF, I'm not a fan of either Tommy or Quadrophenia, although I actually prefer the former. By Numbers is an honest album, without the excesses and pomposity of the aforementioned records, and maybe I like it precisely for that reason.
