Echolyn As The World
Voto:
A heartfelt and deserved review for one of the best progressive rock albums of the 90s. Echolyn were quite special in their early days, with reminiscences of Genesis and Gentle Giant, yet with a style that was distinctly their own. They remain a good band even today, although they lack the instrumental and vocal complexity of their early years. Many great albums, with the self-titled release from 2012 being excellent.
The Cure Songs Of A Lost World
Voto:
I see that the album is receiving a lot of praise. I, being a great fan of The Cure, cannot fully agree with it. It's a good album, not exceptional, and unfortunately mixed rather poorly. I consider it inferior to Bloodflowers, contrary to some comparisons I've read. I saw them live during that tour and they were fantastic. One of the best concerts I've ever attended.
Massimo Volume Aspettando i barbari
Voto:
I often find myself going against the tide and I prefer their second phase. Cattive Abitudini and Aspettando i barbari are excellent albums. I have to admit that their lyrics are among the best I have ever listened to in Italian music. Musically, you can tell that they have matured over the years and they have added that slight rock touch that makes me appreciate them even more.
Christopher Nolan Oppenheimer
Voto:
Finally, I saw it and I was satisfied. It’s close to 5 stars for me, I just found it a bit "stretched out." Of course, it's not on the level of Killers of the Flower Moon, to give the example of a recent film that ultimately drove me crazy, despite a good story. Anyway, getting back to Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan confirms himself as the excellent director he has always been, since The Following and the masterpieces Memento and The Prestige, but also in the subsequent blockbusters, all of which are great, with the only dip being Tenet. However, in Oppenheimer, there is a monstrous performance by Cillian Murphy, who has been great in various films and already magnificent in the role of Tommy Shelby. If he doesn’t win the Oscar, it’s a scandal.
Chris Cornell Euphoria Morning
Voto:
Over time, this album has grown on me so much that I even prefer it to the Soundgarden records. A vocal maturity that I had perhaps somewhat overlooked, but which now stands out in all its glory. Therefore, I change my rating and give it the highest score. The one I reserve for masterpieces.
Bradley Cooper Maestro
Voto:
Good film without a doubt, and from every point of view. But I have the impression that it's not one of those that stays with you and that I would rewatch.
David Fincher The Killer
Voto:
Sure, the theme is overused, but as far as I'm concerned, it's a really well-made film, from every perspective.
Porcupine Tree In Absentia
Voto:
Personally, I prefer reviews that also discuss the music, but it remains a beautifully written piece. Porcupine Tree are a band I greatly appreciate, even though they've never released a masterpiece. Their talent lies in their consistency; they've produced many quality albums. I consider Wilson to be one of the few geniuses of contemporary music, a great musician in every aspect and an absolute master of sound. In Absentia is certainly among their best albums, although I slightly prefer Lightbulb Sun and Deadwing. I believe I have adequately summarized my thoughts on PT.

Is that G on the cover?
Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon 50th Anniversary Box Set
Voto:
I like Pink Floyd. They aren't among my favorite bands, but I appreciate many of their albums, especially Animals and Wish You Were Here. With this album, however, I've always struggled; I've always found it contrived. A funny review, although maybe it could have been trimmed here and there.
