Boards of Canada Inferno

I have to say that, at first listen, I liked this album even more than the previous ones. An album suspended between past and future, that's the right perspective.
Cheap Trick At Budokan
Voto:
They belong to that group of honest craftsmen, like Slade and Sweet for instance, who have never really excited me. A listen that's rather pleasant, but more as background music. Something for a car journey, that's it.
Def Leppard Hysteria
Voto:
Great album that brought well-deserved success to an excellent band. Not virtuosos, but certainly stubborn musicians with a great sense for melody. I still prefer the previous Pyromania, which I consider to be their true masterpiece.
Alejandro González Iñárritu Revenant

Outstanding review. I agree with everything, I just raise the rating, because the film is wonderful. And forget Dream Theater, Inarritu = Led Zeppelin. The best of the best. Even though Bardo is In through the out door.
Paul Thomas Anderson Una battaglia dopo l'altra
Voto:
The review is well done and the point of view should be accepted. I really enjoyed the film, both visually and in terms of the story, and I definitely want to watch it again. For now, I give it the highest rating.
LORCAN FINNEGAN The Surfer

It's not easy to find original movies these days, and this one is. Not a masterpiece, but a good film that stays with you. As for Nicholas Cage, I've never understood all the hostility I often read about. To me, he's one of the great actors, although I admit that he's often taken on questionable movies for money.
Woven Hand Mosaic
Voto:
I love this artist, both in 16 Horsepower and perhaps even more in Woven Hand. Back when I was writing for the site, I chose Ten Stones, a more rock-oriented album, but Mosaic is certainly among his most beautiful records. Great choice and an equally beautiful review.
Wayne Wang - Paul Auster Smoke

Watched again today after so many years. A small but great film, with a majestic Keitel.
Niccolò Fabi Libertà negli occhi
Voto:
Yet another masterpiece from Niccolò. And I already know it will grow with the listens, as always happens with his work. Never banal. Different, yet carrying the same signature. He continues his creative path with consistency, once again focusing on electronic sound inserts, as in the previous Tradizione e Tradimento. Lyrics and music are increasingly mature. He nails one of his best songs ever with L'Amore Capita, but even Libertà negli Occhi is an important piece. In general, there are no fillers, and this has been a constant in his albums since Ecco. In these times scarce of good music, I’m happy that it’s an Italian artist who excites me.
David Cronenberg Crimes of the Future
Voto:
I don't love everything about Cronenberg, but he always manages to be original. This is a great film, disturbing yet extremely powerful.
