Sorry, but Caparezza claims to use Zappa as inspiration. From here to saying that someone who does hip hop mixed with rock is a (failed) clone of someone who did experimental rock, I'd say there’s a big gap...

Sorry, Caparezza would be a "failed clone" of whom?

I'm sorry, but among so many idiots in politics, why should we go to a disabled person (with all due respect for the disabled)?

What is it??? What is it??? But I repeat my question to you, Lorenzo or whatever the hell your name is, does someone pay you to vomit your nonsense on this site???
"The risks of a drift in the movement have so far been contained both by Bossi himself, who is capable of riding the tiger of the people and knows how to tame it, without ever being an instigator of the crowds for his own personal interests." But what the hell are you saying??? What tiger of the people??? We are sheep... Italy is a nation of sheep, Bossi and Berlusconi are proof of that... YOU!!! you are proof of that... the fact that you write well is proof because anyone can open a thousand sentences, but then let’s see how they can close them well, please:
"The fact that the Northern League has had enormous popular support, even among Southern immigrants and non-EU citizens, explains well HOW, despite the often vulgar and disrespectful ways of Bossi and his major collaborators (Borghezio, Comino, Rocchetta, Speroni, Maroni, Pivetti, and lately also Salvini from the eponymous video), HOW the issues raised are real and how the responses outlined by this political movement, deeply rooted in the territory, have been, if not right, persuasive and suggestive (albeit simplistic), involving entire popular classes in a sort of militancy and ideological koiné that hasn't been seen in Italy since the times of the great popular manifestations of the right and the left."
Isn't there a "how" that’s too much, don’t you think??? Actually, don’t you all think??? How can you say he writes well? Not even if he rereads it, damn it!
You veil it more and more, you hide your "message" more and more, but in the end, it just takes a little intelligence to see where you want to go, protecting the government.
Your strength and your luck is that intelligence has recently felt out of place in Italy and keeps its distance.

@zzot and gabriella or whatever the cosmic creature is called: I mention Zappa because I would say that here on debaser, there are quite a few people who listen to Zappa and play the part of someone who has been enlightened by the god of reviewers (even though they don’t actually write any reviews...). I would add a request to the editors: publish this sentence in big letters under the reviews on the homepage: "Frank Zappa! :) The most quoted and never listened to artist in the world (you won’t even dedicate 1 minute a day to him)" I’ll send you the money by mail if you do it (the ones from mulinobianco though, which are worth infinitely more than euros) :-)

Okay, I would say we have clarified things. :-) And I would also say that I agree with the talk about the tree.

@gustavo no, I meant spreading shit which is like saying to act as if you know it all. I'm glad, however, that your way of thinking isn't the one I mentioned earlier. That's it.
@jdv. I completely agree with you. However, this doesn't mean that there can't be interesting proposals in the mainstream scene.
In conclusion: you can (not you Gustavo and not you jdv, this is a general discussion) listen to Zappa, Buck 65, Coil, Current 93, Hendrix, Cabaret Voltaire, Sleep, Mogwai... etc., but if you don't recognize that Jovanotti has done something good as well, then you're wasting your time listening to music because you don't understand anything. Saying, for example, that Caparezza sucks and Zappa is a genius is absolutely illogical; it means you haven't understood anything about Zappa (who was definitely a genius and, at the time, light-years ahead of today's Caparezza, for sure).

It seems to me that most of the people who write reviews here on Debaser follow this misleading thought: if you are part of the mainstream, then you only make lightweight music, but you can never hope to reach Music with a capital M; unless, of course, they change their minds when the artist in question dies... Or do you have something to say about Mercury too? (Yes Muffin, I know you have something to say, but honestly, I couldn't care less. Zappa Zappa.)

The comment above seems to me like just another way to spread a bit of crap... anyway, Safari seems at least a 4 to me. Amen (because that's the name of the latest Baustelle album, Gustavo, which apparently you liked so much but don’t even remember the title...) is definitely not a 4, but maybe just because it comes after La Malavita.
