I want Paolo to start writing again; there’s still a lot to review.

Thank you, Paolo, I admire you very much. You can't know what you mean to me; you gave me hope, you made me understand that the music I listen to is worthy of a site like de base. I am increasingly convinced of your cultural depth, and thank you for letting me listen to "Non sei tu" by Adamo. I heard it and compared it to "Non ti scordar mai di me" by Ferreri. Everything it says is true. Thanks again.

Dearest Paolo, thank you for your comment. Even though I take you as an example, I am not, and perhaps will never be, at your level; the difference lies precisely in those details you mentioned that ultimately enrich a review. I have a strong admiration for you and your writing style, but believe me, you are a step above everyone else. I tried to create a credible picture of an author I admire. It is true that he can represent a category of interpreters, but I limited myself to what was described in the review. Bye, Paolo.

Dearest lords of Debaser, I don't comment, and from now on, I will only respond to Il Paolo. I wanted to reply to YOU because this relentless persecution I’m facing is absurd. When you see that I hardly comment at all, I don’t understand the reason. In my opinion, the problem lies upstream; if Debaser is a board for reviews and one has the opportunity to review anything, I see no reason to persist in this way. For example, if I hadn’t had the chance to express myself, then I would have understood the nature of this site, but since there is the freedom to review things one likes, I find it senseless to see comments that speak ill of something in particular. I don’t really like the comment itself, but if Debaser is a good source for finding music and, as a fan of artists, I saw that the web offered little, I decided to write something that could help those interested. This, I think, should be Debaser, not the various things I see. I will continue to write my reviews because, I repeat, this site gives me the opportunity to write, and I will not respond to anyone, except for Il Paolo and those who deserve it. Best regards.

The Diaframma are a group that was incredibly important in the 80s new wave scene. I only have their three albums: Si Sassolini, Siberia, Tre Volte Lacrime (which is my favorite), and Boxe. A voice like Miro's will remain in the annals of history. I must tell you frankly that perhaps the loss of our dear friend influenced my subsequent listening habits. It's true that Fiumani was a poet, but I preferred the old group. Anyway, I absolutely love "Marta," "Adoro Guardarti," and "Blu Petrolio." I repeat, I liked them because I was drawn to Miro's voice.

Grasshopper, thanks for the comment. I just wanted to calmly share my thoughts. I saw your comment about Ivan Graziani, and I'm glad to hear it, especially coming from a passionate fan like you. For me, Ivan Graziani is the best singer-songwriter; I know it might sound strange, but I have a soft spot for his voice and his songs. I have all his albums; they are my companions during the long gray winters. I've spent hours and hours listening to his music. My absolute favorite is Olanda, but I really can't find a weak point. I admire Italian music; another group that I adore madly is Le Orme. I truly listen to them regularly. I love Verità Nascoste, Storia o leggenda, Smogmagica, and I have this obsession with searching for singers who made history but are not remembered today.

Grassoppher, I take the liberty of responding to you because I consider you a knowledgeable person. I usually don't make many comments, I just write my reviews and that's it. I want to apologize to the author of this review; it's not my habit to talk about anything else when one should only rate an album. I was saying, Grassoppher, that I've read your reviews, I have immense respect for you, but I feel called into question. You were surely referring to me when you mentioned in the comment above that there are those who won't back down an inch when defending artists...etc. etc. Reading your homepage, I note your disapproval of the Sanremo festival and similar matters. I must say you're right when you say I won’t back down an inch; I don’t back down an inch when defending my ideas and tastes, as a free man without ideological frameworks or prejudices. I want to talk about what I like; I’ve never accepted political correctness and the idolization of certain musicians while vilifying others simply because they are part of the star system. No, dear Grassoppher, that’s just who I am. And reading the last part of this review, I noticed how some critics don't even include certain singer-songwriters in the lexicon of music, even though they have a following in cultural circles. This only serves to create deeper fractures between the "intelighenzia," which is closed off, and the masses, light-years away, who have never managed to grasp every single word from these gentlemen who say such things. I hope you forgive me, Grassoppher; I admire you, I respect you, but if these are the critics, I’d rather listen to my music and swim against the tide. Cordially.

Dearest Il Paolo, I apologize for taking up this space, but I wanted to thank you for your comment on Ferreri. You know, for me, you are one of the best on this site; I appreciate all your reviews. I too love Italian music, and you are an example to follow in terms of writing style and the mentioned artists, who happen to be my favorites. Anyway, back to Ferreri (who is an artist I admire a lot; I'm really emotionally attached to her), what you say about "Non ti scordar mai di me" could very well come true. Even today, it’s a song that has been bestowed upon the history of Italian music, one of the most beautiful from last year. I can already imagine how it will be in a few years when we hear this piece and feel nostalgia for a time gone by. If I were to draw a comparison with this wonderful song in terms of tone and style of singing, the only one worthy of it would be "La notte" by the great Adamo, obviously keeping in mind the time gap between the two tracks, as well as the difference in gender. Goodbye Il Paolo, I remain your ever-ardent admirer.
