Dearest Il Paolo, this film is a masterpiece of Italian b-movies. Di Leo's direction is a guarantee, and regarding the film itself, I have to say that what pushed me to watch it was the description of the ending in various reviews; you know, seeing actresses like Guida and Carati tackling a nearly dramatic film intrigued me. This is a small masterpiece; it captures the reality of Italy in the late '70s, a form of constraint, the desire for freedom of the protagonists, brutally suppressed by reality. Perhaps it didn't receive a good reception because the two main actresses were associated in people's minds with sexy comedies, and the average viewer didn't appreciate that, but that's why the film is worth watching. Perhaps among Di Leo's films, this is my favorite. The review is perfect and comprehensive, one of the best I've found on the web. Il Paolo, you are great; I don't know how to describe my admiration for you. Every time I write a review, I always look forward to your judgment; it's the first thing I always check. Bye, unstoppable Il Paolo.

Mr. Prog, according to your judgment, shouldn't Le Orme even be mentioned in prog groups? If you prefer Area for coherence, you can't tell me that Le Orme at that time weren't racking up success after success. I don't understand your criteria for judging a band that skillfully mixed sounds from across the Channel with our Italian melody. A band like this is something unique in our musical landscape. Area drew on jazz, Middle Eastern, and fusion-prog sounds, Banco experimented and left little to melody, while Le Orme found their strength precisely in melody. Just look at which of these prog groups are most admired among 70s pop music listeners; it's definitely Le Orme. In "Arbet Match Frei," there isn't a song like "Gioco di Bimba" or "Figure di Cartone."

Dear signorprog, I wanted to tell you that Aldo Tagliapietra's voice is exactly what you hear, there are no tricks or falsettos as you claim; he sings using his diaphragm, not like the country cousins whom I admire nonetheless. It irritates you only because you don’t like it!!! Hello dearest signorprog, that friend of mine from the Festivalbar video didn’t appreciate what you said about Aldo, while acknowledging that your prog knowledge is immense.

Beatboy, thanks for your comment. I will definitely check out your reviews. I really love this band; I'm crazy about them. In fact, this album is a concept. The "gradino più stretto" definitely refers to something related to drugs, but at least it also suggests something different. Thanks again!
