Taxirider, I give you a 5, but actually I don't know either the group or the album.

You're right, manliuzzo, sorry for referring to the bank that way, anyway E it makes me think is very beautiful.

Sorry Paolo, I meant cinephiles, I made a mistake in writing.

Paolo, this is perfect in describing the period: the '80s, you said it all; the film is, in my opinion, the best of the episodic films of that time. It contains everything that Italy was. I watched it in the summer of 2007; I wanted to go to Rimini but went nowhere, and so with a couple of friends, we enjoyed this (let me say) little masterpiece that many define as trash and dismiss. As a true lover of cinema, I also adore B-movies (as you can see, being twenty, I enjoyed it a lot). There are many cinephiles who despise the genre, and the same goes for music; the discussion is pretty much the same. The B-movie in general WAS Italy; just think of the crime movies or the sexy comedies, as we grapple with a country in transformation. Rimini, Rimino was the '80s vacation, just like Sapore di Mare (even if set in the '60s) and Acapulco. I really enjoy the Villaggio-Grandi episode from the film, very funny, and the one with Antonelli. The music matched perfectly as well; if I'm not mistaken, the opening track was by the Righeira (by the way, magnificently reviewed by you), and in the film, you can hear a piece by Tony Esposito, Sinuè, but I can’t remember it well. Actually, I’m going to check because I keep the film close; you know, I'm nostalgic. The '80s were innovative years; the 5 I give the film relates to its ability to depict the era and its irresistible charge that still resonates today. Cheers, magnificent Paolo.

Paolo, you're not just amazing, you're the best, you'll always be the best, I could never compare myself to you.

Paolo, I just logged in right now and I won’t hide my happiness for your comment. Thank you for the compliment; I will try to improve my style in reviews. The film is truly beautiful; everything you said is completely true, it has everything you mentioned, all this and more. The carati and the guidance were in opposition. The phrase is the one that makes the film something unique. A warning; in my opinion, the director wanted to focus the film on this line: let's look around and see if it's time to continue like this or if we should ask ourselves where we are going, much like the film Thelma and Louise, which has been compared to this one. Thanks again, legendary Paolo, thanks to your words I find the strength to move forward. As for Karima, I'll see in the future. Bye, keep in touch soon!

Then, Manliuzzo, I know that you have a good musical competence and maybe you won't believe it, but I admire you.

Yes Manliuzzo, you’re right, but if Le orme lent themselves more to melody, I like them more precisely for this reason, and you’re right to say that Banco also created melodic pieces; I really like Canto di Primavera. However, from the subsequent period (which many don’t admire), I would save a little something; of course, we’re still talking about songs far from being defined as prog, a Paolo Pa that can’t be compared to any song by Darwin. Hi!

Mr. prog, do you judge a band for having participated in Sanremo? We have different views, because for me this is not a flaw. Also, dear Mr. prog, Le Orme participated in the festival twice during the Eighties revival, by now past the prog period, specifically with "Marinai" (1982) and "Dimmi che cos'è" (1987), two songs that I like very much. Forgive me, but even Banco participated in the festival with "Grande Joe" (1985), which is beautiful as well.

P.S. The quote at the beginning is shocking: I can't remember who said it, nor can I recall it in full, but I remember it said that when you’re twenty, you shouldn’t let anyone tell you it’s the most beautiful age.
