Vittorio De Sica Ladri Di Biciclette (1948)
Voto:
A masterpiece of neorealism, the saddest scene is at the end when the helpless child screams his father's name as he is beaten by passersby who have noticed the theft of the bicycle.
Federico Fellini La Città delle Donne
Voto:
The touch of the Master, suspended in the dream that brings forth nightmares, must mention the scene where Mastroianni, lost in the night forest, accepts a ride from girls in a car with a dance track; it is there that the film becomes poetry.
Federico Fellini La Dolce Vita
Voto:
It is with this film that the star of the great Fellini is born, a work of art that never stops sparkling, and with this film that Mastroianni becomes an icon of Italian-ness, a dandy, bored, lazy, in love, melancholic, a contemporary pierrot.
Antonio Pietrangeli Io la conoscevo bene
Voto:
If I could choose a director to identify with, I would definitely say Antonio Pietrangeli. It is he, with his stories of girls adrift in a changing Italy, of the boom, and of comedy that does not describe in a cheerful sense. "Io la conoscevo bene" is a masterpiece of Italian cinema, the best of Stefania Sandrelli; her finest role, she is perfect in that part of the forgotten lolita, deluded by the many masks that surround us. A raw ending—thank you, Pietrangeli.

Nanni Moretti Sogni D'Oro

In my opinion, the best film by Nanni Moretti, after "Ecce Bombo" and before "Bianca," is perhaps the film where Moretti's personality is most clearly evident, as if a camera were capturing him on an ordinary day. He is perfectly himself in this film, which makes him the Italian Woody Allen, with a nod to Fellini's "8½." Great Moretti.

Yosif, if we want to have an objective conversation about Alexia, I must tell you that "Il cuore a modo mio," "Gli occhi grandi della luna," and "Alè" are definitely ones to have if you like Alexia and the genre. Then, slightly further down (but I wouldn’t really say it), is "Alexia," the first album sung in Italian, which still has two beautiful songs: "Dimmi come" and "Non lasciarmi mai." After that, there's the 2001 album "Mad for Music" in English, "Happy," "Fan club," and "The party." So, if I had to recommend, the first three mentioned are must-haves because they are truly unmissable (especially for those who love this type of music). It’s clear that if someone is a fan of Tool, I wouldn’t mention it at all.

J & B, it shows that you are musically prepared; of the bands you mentioned, I know maybe three or four. At a friend's house, who is a rock enthusiast, I listened to "Marquee Moon" by Television, and the song that struck me the most was actually the title track of the album, which lasts about seven minutes.

Anyway Yosif, the 5 I gave is also due to my passion for Alexia's music. If you notice among my comments, I also gave a 5 to the Commodore manual, as a lover of video games I wanted to pay tribute to this passion of mine. But of course, there are those who say otherwise, so it's right that every reviewer, when giving a rating, also thinks about the emotions they felt. Bye.

Yosif, I tried to stick to the style of the first review, just to give a rhythm; next time I’ll try to write differently. Bye.
