Dear Mr. Prog, that friend of mine is a fan of Genesis, King Crimson, and Emerson. He made me listen to Le Orme and Il Banco, and I must tell you honestly that I liked Le Orme, but not the real prog period (Collage, Uomo di Pezza, and Felona e Sorona). I was impressed by Verià Nascoste and Storia o Leggenda when the band's sound became more melodic. I also loved the '80s tracks like Rosso di Sera, Dimmi Che Cos’è (Sanremo '79), and Marinai (Sanremo '82). As for Il Banco, it’s the same thing – from Canto di Primavera to all the '80s. Paolo Pa is stunning, and the lyrics are great; it talks about homosexuality. Then there's Moby Dick and Grande Joe (Sanremo '85). I hope you’ll forgive me for loving the most criticized period of these bands. Bye, I look forward to your response.
