Everything is very beautiful and monumental, just as it should be when talking about DCD. They are rich in cultured references, and rightly so; they certainly weren't presenting themselves as a contemporary chart alternative to Madonna's records. This makes them more appealing to the few surviving romantics, not to millennials, that's for sure. That's fine, beautiful things remain beautiful beyond eras and labels.

Like all Ash Ra albums, it sounds fantastic on the turntable. At some point, it's essential to put on a Lava Lamp and a well-rolled joint. However, this doesn't detract from the enjoyment of these unique recordings today. A golden period that can be gladly found on vinyl at flea markets.
