Julee Cruise The Voice Of Love
Voto:
I thought I recognized that photo of "animalvegetoide." In Lynch's world, music plays a significant role, and sound always conveys a sense of mystery. I believe it must be a beautiful CD, but I haven't listened to it yet. Congratulations on a very intriguing musical choice.
Gong Flying Teapot
Voto:
A thoughtful review lacking references to the musical world of the Gong. No notes on the music. Moreover, it fails to do justice to a truly original work that is rich in ideas. Phrases like "cosmic agony" do not capture the creative and performing prowess of Allen and the band. More argumentation was needed.
A.A.V.V. The Different You: Robert Wyatt E Noi

Thank you for the review. I'll get the CD. I must say I didn't realize how much Wyatt was loved by so many musicians in Italy. I didn’t understand why Jovanotti's voice had more "consistency." I find that it has definitely improved in recent years (at least in terms of intonation).

Excellent. Crazy is your best review! Bold, a kind of chapter thesis to celebrate a classic.

The review intrigued me. I also enjoy Queen after the 80s.
Allan Holdsworth Atavachron
Voto:
I had a few isolated live tracks by him but I don't have this album. Now, thanks to the review, I've decided to get it. His music moves me. English, romantic, at times melancholic. It's not just "technicality". Rather, it's a technical exploration, especially of the guitar sound, useful for conveying emotion.
Allan Holdsworth Metal Fatigue
Voto:
You wrote: "the majority of musicians, even renowned and well-known ones, whenever they want to astonish listeners with complicated passages, lose control of their phrasing, meaning the sense of the played phrases, in other words, 'they don't play.'" This sentence is certainly understandable for those in the industry, but it sounds a bit cliché to me. However, if taken literally, practically all jazz improvising guitarists would then lose control of phrasing (for example, Pat Metheny). I simply think it's true that not all guitarists have the taste for melodic lines during solos. Holdsworth undoubtedly has it, and in this, he is a master. Others are more interested in developing rhythmical ideas or those linked to traditional blues. It’s just a matter of taste (as is almost always the case). Great review and amazing album, are there any other interesting works of his?
Joe Satriani Surfing with the Alien

Allan Holdsworth is definitely more interesting than Satriani. You could write a review of one of his albums given your technical knowledge! Go with Metal Fatigue! Bye!
Soft Machine Volume Two
Voto:
Thank you for the welcome, Telespalla! I will try to improve my reviews; this is a great site. As for my stance on Third, all my friends know that while I listen to Moon in June almost every day, I don’t have an unconditional passion for the album. I might be a bit biased, but I’m somewhat allergic to those "totem" records to put on a pedestal and maybe listen to once every 10 years. That’s why I consider Vol 2 to be a rare gem: less famous and richer in emotions. I accept any criticism regarding my thoughts on Wyatt. Rock Bottom is a masterpiece. Even too much. The Soft Machine were perhaps a bit overshadowed by Wyatt's dominant artistic presence in their early works. I just say that Ratledge and Hopper deserve equal consideration.
