Fantomas The director's cut

Very interesting. I didn't know them. However, I know the Naked City by John Zorn... if you want to listen to some incredibly interesting (and totally insane) soundtrack cover, there's the one from 007 that is unparalleled.

Interesting interpretation of the cover. The old would thus represent the past and the present would be the torn wall. I would have never arrived at that. In any case, the cover is ugly.

Yes. I would say that you've shot yourself in the foot. It's not your fault. Here, speaking ill of Pink Floyd usually stirs up a hornet's nest of controversies. But so does speaking well of them. You've shot yourself in the foot. Or maybe Frank Zappa.

Thank you for the mention. I don’t have this album. I would say you’ve said a little something to spark curiosity, but you haven’t mentioned many other interesting points, such as the artistic prominence of certain members (Wyatt and Allen) in the years leading up to the material of the various Volume 1, 2, etc. As for the controversy with Pink Floyd, everything has already been said; it's a well-worn topic. My personal opinion is that the two bands don’t really align much in terms of sound and musical choices, apart from the fact that they are both facets of the psychedelic era and performed in the same venues.

The album was recorded in 1968 and released in 1969. In the 2002 reissue, you can also find some B-sides (e.g., Lady Go Lightly) from 1972 and I believe also others that are later. Since there has been an editorial debate about which songs belong to Sally and which to her brother or both, I would be grateful if someone could let me know based on the tracklist of the reissue!
David Bowie Hours

but that video of the single from this album where he's in front of the mirror with his wife behind him in a situation of apparent and unsettling normality really struck me. Perhaps it's a sign that in recent years the great Bowie has focused entirely on his image as an actor, but he still knows how to surprise; I wouldn't rule out a sudden and new stylistic musical shift even today!

Yes, Mike Oldfield and his sister Sally, who had an equally important solo career, though not as well-known in Italy, are highly appreciated in England. This album can be considered the precursor to all of Oldfield's instrumental and non-instrumental work. A note of interest: Mike was truly a kid; he was 15 years old during this recording, which has a 2002 reissue with unreleased tracks.
Pacifico Dolci Frutti Tropicali
Voto:
Certainly, a listener who attends a concert or listens to an album expecting to be "impressed" or waiting for a great revelation or simply an electric guitar solo is faced with a work laden with a tangled web of prejudices. And that’s understandable. We all have them. It should be noted, however, that those who don’t shout but speak loudly, even if faintly, and do so by composing songs of the highest quality and extremely intimate lyrics should be judged by the emotions they can convey, rather than by how many steps they have climbed in the infamous "temple of music." Otherwise, we would be here ranking the best solos in history as if we were a mediocre music magazine focused on selling and buying everything that "hits" and boosts the charts.

The album is really beautiful...but listen to Dolci Frutti Tropicali...then tell me if this doesn't know how to play with poetry.
Roberto Angelini Dicembre
Voto:
You've sparked my curiosity, but I wouldn't know what to say about the music. What does "dicembre" talk about, what project is it? What kind of feelings does it evoke? In any case, I really enjoy listening to the new releases from emerging singer-songwriters in Italy; there are so few talented ones (at least on the radio).
