Yes Going For The One

turn of the century is a track that gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. What more could you ask for? It's worth every penny that the reissues cost.

Interesting. What I heard I liked. Before sleeping in the dark in silence, you can listen.

It's not easy to pique interest with a review of this album. You succeeded especially thanks to the delicious contribution of Lennon and McCartney to Spector's work. Great review. I really like the record. There's fun but also a sense of melancholy.
Fantomas The director's cut

none of this frik. It’s just that I like Monteverdi and I find him original. I don’t mean to be an expert, I'm just a passionate fan. You, on the other hand, with your innate gift for being a "polemista" (in a literary and music critique sense) could write an excellent review, perhaps of the album we're discussing. Merry Christmas!

Fagen's albums are too few. For me, this is music history.

Steely Dan and Fagen as a solo artist simply move me. I can't help but love the lyrics, the arrangements... it's perfect. Perhaps perfection can tire some, but I find it very hard to play Steely Dan songs on the guitar no matter how much I try... far from perfection. Steely Dan were a miracle.

Stoney writes: "Because in too many cases, unfortunately, the line between experimentation and sonic garbage is very, very thin." Baroque critics slammed Claudio Monteverdi for his dissonances, and today here he is, prominently featured in the window of a 21st-century record store. Sonic garbage? It's a matter of eras and personal tastes.
Henry Cow & Slapp Happy Casablanca Moon - Desperate Straights

You've made me laugh a lot with this truly beautiful review. The world of Henry Cow is right there. And it’s still unknown and underrated: guys, get your hands on these albums before the posthumous reissues and critics eager to capitalize the K in the word culture do.

Michoos What in response to whether I knew about the Zorn-Patton partnership: honestly, I didn't know! In fact, this will help me track down "Fantomas," the one dedicated to the comic book that seems closest to my Zornian tastes. As for Faith No More, how can one not acknowledge that they are certainly more listenable to a wider audience and provide a more immediate enjoyment compared to somewhat more experimental music? This is certainly true. However, for example, if I hadn't heard Area, I would not have known and admired the solo experiments of Demetrio Stratos. I don't listen to them every day, of course, but sometimes experimentation is interesting for a music enthusiast; why not get involved?
