Well done! I didn’t know about this album. It's interesting to cover Radiohead. It's true that the style isn't really that "modernist." It’s very tied to traditional jazz. I really like it; have you heard the album with Pat Metheny? That one is also quite beautiful. You make me want to listen to this because you talk about music and feelings.

@brat ok! :) I could put it as a definition, but I think there are another thirty thousand that sing its praises, and then it’s hard to highlight it. I’ll give it a shot: hey friends, Zappa sucks. Let’s see...

And here comes the great Frank Zappa again, uninvited! :) The most quoted and never listened to artist in the world (you won't even dedicate 1 minute a day to him). At home, the beautiful double album Joe's Garage is the only one of his that doesn't gather dust.

It's curious that "tra l'aratro..." by Gazzè is mentioned among the best albums... I don't think so, unfortunately for Gazzè there hasn't been much artistic continuity compared to his previous works, perhaps not due to a lack of merit but rather by choice. I tend to see him more as a good session musician and a decent music author. As for Baustelle, I believe you’re right to mention "Amen". I also think it’s among the most beautiful. The pinnacle seems to have been "charlie fa surf", but then deliberately the band retreats into minor "sonatas" and evanescent sounds. Obviously, it's not for everyone and it can't aspire to the widespread popularity of the single that was written by Baustelle for Irene Grandi, for example. Regarding Marta sui Tubi and Le Luci, I disagree; I find those albums a bit immature in my opinion. And quite depressing. I’ve listened to De Gregori. I was very impressed by his comeback with "Pezzi". I was quite disappointed by "per Brevità". Still, we are talking about artists who don’t need to release the "album of the year" because they already did that many years ago.

The most beautiful Italian album of 2008 and also the most influential. This year it's a contest between Pacifico and Nannini. A sparse and declamatory review. I would like to dwell on the beautiful synth-dance-rock of "In Orbita"...there's a lot to say about "Mezzogiorno" which partially references "Heroes" by Bowie and the truly remarkable rap spoken word of "antidolorifico magnifico". A capable artist and singer-songwriter, at times delicate and at times extremely passionate. He has much to say and says it simply, and perhaps this may not appeal to the intellectuals.
The Kinks Lola Versus Powerman And The Moneygoround, Part One

The reviewer probably associated the "hard rock" vibe of that riff with the famous Van Halen version of the aforementioned "you really got me." An alternative version where I only like the singer's voice. In reality, the Kinks truly reinvented music. I should also listen to this; the review gets right to the point and isn’t boring. Very good.

That's right! I was mistaken. It's that CD with that beautiful painting on the cover.

wonder. Did he sing "Wise man in your heart"? It's my favorite song by the Gong. How does Allen present himself? A bit acid despite his age? A dinosaur... it's a real shame about the lack of advertising for events like this: thanks for the tip!
Dream Theater Black Clouds & Silver Linings

You remind me of Beppe Grillo commenting on a Dream Theater album. I’m not a big fan of those who criticize technical abilities, labeling them as "sterile." How can you say that a "tapping" is sterile? It’s like saying a chicken is authoritative, using words a bit randomly just because it sounds cool. Look, you’re funny, I give you a 2. The album by the band in question probably deserves more than a 1, whether you’re a fan or not.

But since when have they started calling "de André" with that silly nickname "faber"? A review that doesn’t talk about music. But I think it’s intentional. Prokofiev. Jazz musicians incredibly play rock in this album. And vice versa.
