Aside from the mellotron sound, it doesn't seem to me that they cover Genesis. Some passages of Frequency felt similar to keyboards taken from Foxtrot, which is from 1975. This makes me think. In any case, they seem more like a mainstream rock band with a foundation of ancient sounds. I don’t like the fact that the cliché forces these bands to always use clean sounds and total absence of dissonance... why?? Years have passed, and I wish musical taste would acknowledge that.

what does creuza de ma have to do with world music then...strangeness of labels at all costs. Pagani isn't really my favorite, too idolized lately, but it's just a matter of opinions; as for the music, I'd say we're doing well!

Hello everyone! It's great to read you again. What a character Ozzy is, a very valid singer, a talent who managed (with a few kicks in the ass) to write the history of rock music. For me, he is vocally talented; I'll be getting this solo thing of his.

I've never understood what it is about good malmsteem that deserves a host of detractors. I assume it's some ancient envy towards those who dedicate their careers to playing with music without many prejudices, like a stage animal or a "paganini" of the instrument. What I appreciate about this review is the fair bringing down to average levels of an album and an artist that here do not give their best. But shall we talk about the other albums? There are a couple that deserve 5 stars.

What era is the studio version of the song "Sara2" from? Sorry to bring up a very mainstream song, but it's so beautiful that it's in the top ten of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Just not the live version, though.

I like the single. But "song to say goodbye" was able to touch me, to scratch... this, I don't know.

Great! Finally, something new, fun, and rockin'.

There’s a bit of Dan Brownism in this review. Leonardo perhaps mocked his contemporaries more than he wasted time inserting more or less hidden messages in his works.
Samuele Bersani Samuele Bersani

Bersani has already hit a couple of masterpieces. The latest one, for example. But I’d like to remind you, if you’ve forgotten, about "l'oroscopo speciale" with its beautiful songs (pescatore di asterischi, replay above all) which earned the Tenco Prize and other accolades. We are facing one of the pillars of Italian music, who blends "alternative" tastes with more conservative ones, endowed with a beautiful voice and a deep, intimate vision that can draw you in. Definitely check out the live performances as well, because there's that all-Romagna flavor in teasing oneself. Never praised enough. This album is certainly not his masterpiece.
