To be completely frank, despite the twisted little noses you can read in the early comments, years have passed and Meshuggah are extensively rewriting the history of metal and progressive genres, filling stadiums and winning over metalheads and their mothers-in-law. Kudos to the reviewer of that time who had the foresight. The others did not.

This film defined my adolescence. I remember that at 18 I smoked Gauloises Blue, after having seen it, and my friends and I had a secret cult for this movie and the "Egyptian" images of people motionless at the bathroom window.

The review is a beautiful read. That's enough for me. I stopped idolizing Nick Cave many years ago. I appreciate him but I can no longer tolerate that sacred aura that, thanks to his fans, surrounds him. This is not the case, however, with the reviewer and their writing.
