I can't say that I enjoyed the exhilarating experience of seeing Maiden live. I completely understand the desire to go, even if it means making some sacrifices. The financial situation is ultimately similar to what I would have faced, perhaps with a bit less cash, if I had gone to see Porcupine Tree, for whom I had genuinely considered going, but in the end, I gave up. In the past, I went to an Allan Holdsworth concert in 2009, before he passed away, I spent around 30 euros, I chatted with him at the bar of the Naima club and he played for two and a half hours in a trio that included Chad Wakerman. No huge crowds, but the musicality and emotion were so beautiful, intense, and moving that even my partner said – it was nice, I don’t know where the hell you took me or who this guy is, but it was nice. –

Years ago, I missed the review of this absolute masterpiece. Works of this kind create a divide in taste between those who see jazz as inextricably linked to syncopation and its blues origin or merely as a free language. Overcoming the dualism allows me to enjoy it more.

For a few years, I had her Leonia and her Dark Night beside me before falling asleep. I like to often return to these sounds between free music and meditation. I’m really happy that there are people who appreciate it. A review that invites thoughtful listening.

When it is said that nowadays there is no argumentative ability in the critique of a work, it certainly was not referring to your review. There are illuminating parts and others that are more obscure. However, overall, I find myself in agreement with the general conception expressed regarding the seven notes. I hope the next step will be a summary intervention on this monument.

I had the chance to appreciate him several times, even in person. A writer of high caliber and also a visionary with words. Quite frankly, his ability as an author has been somewhat overshadowed by the persona of De André when it comes to albums like Rimini. Excellent review, more like this.
