"You Won't Let Me Down Again" is indeed a nice song. But the album as a whole is negligible and at times even cheesy. As far as I'm concerned, it barely makes the cut. About Lanegan, dear Gabri, I wonder how having a girlfriend and living in LA a life of a good boy who has finally turned his back on the r'n'r lifestyle actually affects his inspiration and the quality of his artistic productions. Evidently, not much. Bye, I'm off to grab a bottle of whisky, have a fistfight with the street vendor of hot dogs down the block, watch the derby hoping for an Inter victory, and finally drive blindfolded my third-hand Hyundai Atos at the thrilling speed of sixty kilometers per hour in the traffic of my city.
