I vaguely remember them. I thought they hadn't played since the distant 1997. About that. Were they/are they so saccharine?

Cuneo 1905 - Rivoli 0 - 0 (see comment 21)? A great reviewer isn't always a great one on the football fields.

Great review, ilfreddo. Even intriguing. Considering the long, successful, and captivating introduction. I'm glad you didn't just throw together a couple of words about the film. A film I would have liked to review myself, by the way. Anyway. I didn't find it overly sentimental or Christmas-like. And I don't think English cinema is necessarily more sentimental than today's Italian cinema or even, dare I say, American cinema. That's fine. "My Friend Eric" is a fairy tale. There's a depressed man who smokes a joint, and Mr. Eric Cantona appears to be his personal trainer and motivator. Then Eric, the non-famous one, solves all his problems. It's a bit unrealistic, sure. But the film, which okay isn't a cerebral or intellectual film, still has its content. That, probably due to my personal and private circumstances, I found quite significant. Good job by Cantona as an actor. In the film, he shows us that a true champion is also and above all a man. Just as every man can be a champion in his own way. Something that is too often forgotten in the world of football and in life. Amen.

I share Skeletron's astonishment. However, since the review is excellent, and it perhaps brings to life – maybe finally makes sense, when associated with the pages of the good Kyra Collins – this dingy section of the site (shamefully overshadowed by the usual deplorable changes to the homepage, let's not forget!), then fine. I await further developments, however. First and foremost, an update of my personal dashboard. In the meantime, I will busy myself searching for hidden meanings. Between the lines.

One said that "The Po begins in Piacenza, and it does very well because it is the only respectable river found in Italy: and respectable rivers develop in flatlands, because water is meant to remain horizontal, and only when it is perfectly horizontal does water maintain all its natural dignity. The Niagara Falls are carnival phenomena. Like men who walk on their hands." Perhaps it is related. Perhaps not. But it is probably not a coincidence that, momentarily setting aside the great Galeoto (and remembering - which never hurts - that Reggiana is the only Italian football club that owns its own stadium), both good Zamboni and Max Collini hail from those parts. The live performances are legendary. Good page. 5+

Dear Trombino. Your reviews spark more controversy than those of a Il_Paolo in championship form. But it's nice to have you here. Nicer than watching the crows crowding my patio. When it snows. Nicer than my collections of... Agota? Who is this person?
