It's a really great album, indeed.

Well, apart from the more or less questionable appreciation of the band in question (the Cure), I have to say that among the eight bands mentioned, I expected quite a bit of punk-wave-glam-dark-new romantic stuff, etc., etc. In short, you got me. In this same context, I would have weighed the Cure against typical bands of the 1980-1990 decade.
