Camper Van Beethoven Popular Songs Of Great Enduring Strenght And Beauty

Already heard. Never listened. Since they seem to have all the right credentials to please yours truly, enlighten me (also) about them and tell me: which Camper Van record do you think is the most compelling of all? This one right here?

I thought he was just going to be the Claudio Lippi of Galliani junior. I'm not interested in the album, but I have to admit that he can be quite entertaining at times.

@ Geb. Thanks again for the suggestion. I think I’ll set aside the massive tome of a thousand pages (not to mention the axe, of course) this time, and I’ll get the other one. I’ll let you know later. @ Santalessio. I’m at least desolate. I’ll make it up to you with pizza and beer at the first opportunity. @ Drunkedqueen. Pizza and beer for you too at the first opportunity. Don’t take it the wrong way, but: a) I don’t like restaurants too much. b) I like cooking even less. I’m not a good catch, and this time politics has nothing to do with it… I still thank you for the careful reading of a DeCasoStorico like the Berlin by Cimmino Carlo, otherwise known as Carlo Cimmino (quote) and in general for the attention to the good Go Betweens from Australia.

I've read some comments here and there. What I can confirm is the band's poor ability to perform well live. Bianconi (that's his name, right?) is even out of tune—besides being dull and lacking any grit and/or communication. Yes, I know there are those who are out of tune and still pleasant, but not him. I also want to point out that since the departure of Mister Fabrizio Massara, the only musician truly with guts who was part of this band (http://www.fabriziomassara.com/) and who coincidentally also worked on one of the best albums by Diaframma's Federico Fiumani (Volume 13), the sound of Baustelle has lost consistency, vigor, melody, and more or less mere quality. Goodbye.
Ennio Morricone Bianco, Rosso e Verdone

In the end, the film is flawless as well. Last week, otherwise, I tried watching the pseudo-remake, which clearly left me quite perplexed and, even though I was already expecting it, a bit disappointed too. It might be that Verdone hasn't really "hit the mark" with many films since then. Actually. Great review, one of the best I've read in 2010.

Come on voodoomiles. It's never too late to get a fake. I offer you the co-participation of Cappio al Pollo or, if you prefer, blechtrommel as sub-rented, which with state eco-incentives will cost you less than 25% of the annual gross cost. In plain terms: it would be almost free!

@ Bob. Maybe you’re right. But it's also true that the Arno disgusts me a bit since, one July afternoon many years ago, I saw everything splashing around in it. The Strait of Messina is better. @ Capomastro di carpenteria d'alta quota Sfascia&Carrozze, indeed some SottoTunnel in the style of the Channel Tunnel would have everyone envious. I can already imagine the French getting angry, newspapers fluttering, there's a bit of wind, and the countryside is barking while there’s a moon in the middle of the blue. @ Diaframmatica Drunkedqueen. Speaking of which, since it's lunchtime here, tell me: what did you feast on while listening to this album? Feel free to invent, but do make our mouths water, please. I would point out that there is a considerable number of fans of Fiumani who believe this band has some affinity with ours. Please let me know if you do. @ Geb. Thank you very much. Pynchon? I don’t know him. Just give me a title and I'll go buy it. Regards, and also a little post-modern to you. @ Kosmo, yeah! @ Core-a-core, did you hear Maria dell'incoronEta? @ Trommel. It’s quite a hefty book, yes. But I don’t believe you read the whole review, you rascal... @ Aerdna, I take this opportunity to compliment you on your DeImmaginePersonale, which reminds me of a site I stumbled upon a few years ago, where some maniac collector of tapes – who had indeed amassed dozens throughout his productive life – displayed a considerable number of photographs. Absolutely fascinating! If I find it [again], I’ll link it to you.
