"The poets are weary young men who serve the State
Spitting in its face so it may be damned
And they flaunt skies and fountains, messages and doves
For us the bells, for the rich the trumpets"

Doesn’t really matter, but it came to my mind while reading you.
Well done as always

Between the 3rd and 4th, I also happened to ignore it, only to reevaluate it later.

I had missed this one and now we're bringing it back to life... One of Vecchioni's most intricate albums, less straightforward, although the word straightforward is a euphemism when it comes to his lyrics. Everything you say is true, even that Vecchioni's poetry is on par with DeAndré; true that Samarcanda has an annoying chorus, but the rest of the album erases it all. This, Elisir, and Samarcanda form a grand trilogy!

Here I am... so you’re Sedorf?
Well, who cares
Great review, fabulous record, and in rebellious music the phrase that inspired my current showcase

It's been playing on the stereo for 40 years, and it will keep doing so for many more.
