Mastodon Crack The Skye

After three years, I’ve come to the conclusion that the best thing about this album is the appearance of Scott Kelly...

I have always thought the same exact things. The album is not repetitive: a masterpiece and among the best things I've ever listened to. Untitled VIII is one of the most beautiful compositions of the third millennium, and the most beautiful 'rock' crescendo ever (along with those of GY!BE).
Converge You Fail Me

Keep breathing, keep living, keep searching, keep pushing on, keep bleeding, keep healing, keep fading, keep shining on. This is for the hearts still beating.

I couldn't refrain myself. Now, the review is perfect, but the record (like the whole 'witch-house' trend, whatever that means) seems like rubbish to me. The only scene that died before it even had a chance to (not) exist, though, that must be said.

As soon as Darkeve looks for them, I’ll be back in Italy...
Red House Painters Down Colorful Hill

After so many years, so many disparate listens behind me, so many experiences, so many premature judgments or just totally off the mark, I have arrived at that definitive one, perhaps thrown out randomly, but certainly not premature: BEST ALBUM OF ALL TIME.

"Letting go." And that's enough.
My Bloody Valentine Loveless

Take some fundamentally harmless pop songs. Layer them with a wall of sound full of fuzz and reverb and phaser and tremolo. Play them for people who stare at their shoes the whole time with a lackadaisical expression. And if the result of one of the best records ever isn't enough for you, tough luck.
The Who The Who Sings My Generation
Voto:
Among the 'great classics' of rock, as mentioned earlier, The Who are among the very few that resonate with me on a visceral level.
