Dylan is one of the most underrated artists of his time... I noticed this even in the DeFinizioni: before the last few months, he seemed unanimously praised... I am one of his admirers, but I think I will listen to this album in quite a while.

This review made me reflect on the concept of historical reevaluation. At the time, this record was dismissed, and now we consider it a masterpiece. This happens with many other albums by iconic bands (I remember there were people who panned The Piper back then). But are we sure we haven’t simply been influenced? In hindsight, after several years, we tend to reevaluate almost everything. From what we call “it’s an amazing album” to what no longer elicits more than a “in the end, they weren’t that bad.” I’m not limiting this discussion to just Led, especially since I haven’t listened to one of their songs in five years (and back then, yes, I was influenced; now I wouldn’t know).

Michoos reminded me of an anecdote from this summer. I was at my favorite bar sipping a nice lemon tea, around nine-thirty in the evening, when I heard music coming from the square. They have concerts in the square every now and then in the summer. And there were these sixteen-year-olds—maybe seventeen—who kicked off with a cover of Muse. Followed by more covers, each worse than the last in terms of selection. They even played a piece of their own, and it would have been better if they hadn’t. They barely made mistakes while playing, but thanks to that, songs that if you give me a moment I could play too, since I can barely strum two chords on an acoustic. There you go, and FUCK JUSTICE IS DEAD if these morons are playing in the square in front of two hundred people (some even interested!) and my project for a distorted bass and glockenspiel sonata was rejected. A LURIDIIIIIIIIIIII

But why, was a new album by Robbie Williams supposed to come out? But who is he? He wasn't even in movies, was he?
