Ah, I wanted to add that if they had done more tracks in the vein of Aimless Arrow (emotionally devastating, it stands out above everything else), I would have given it a 5 as well. As it is, it's "just" a monumental album.

I still think that if GnR had never become famous, remaining an unknown band, now searching for the "forgotten" records we would take this album for what it really is: a bad hard rock record that by the end of the '80s already had nothing to say. It's not even a coincidence that anyone who is about to defend it, the first thing they say is "it made history." Moreover, I'm biased because I've never heard a more annoying voice.
