I meant "minors," of course. I also forgot Arzachel.
Karlheinz Stockhausen Hymnen
Voto:
milestone in electronic and "concrete" music (electronic effects was later the term used in rock and pop music). it was the "bridge" between contemporary music and rock; the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Can, Faust, and many others drew heavily from this monumental work.
Alphataurus Alphataurus
Voto:
masterpiece of Italian prog. (one of the few alongside the early works of Banco del mutuo soccorso) Classicism and avant-garde go hand in hand perfectly. The track "croma" is among my favorites in the genre.
Rush Moving Pictures
Voto:
...and yes 8 big discs in a row those sly ones...
Rush Hemispheres
Voto:
One of the best by Rush, Neil Peart is impressive, "La villa strangiato" is superb. The whole album is at its highest level.
Caravan In The Land Of Grey And Pink
Voto:
5 votes for "Nine Feet.." the rest doesn't seem that great to me.
Caravan If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You
Voto:
I think it's the best of the caravans, definitely my favorite. And then with "in the land" they changed not the style but the sonority (David Hitchcock came on as producer) and you can feel it...
