perhaps the pinnacle of Evans. emotion, detail, intensity, and long breaths beautifully contrast in this magical session. the most beautiful piano trio ever? maybe, my favorite? I would say no. the trio of Sonny Clark and that of Nichols are ahead.

If you think that Faust took inspiration from Zappa, they had very different references (as already mentioned, Stockhausen first and foremost)... the mixing of music is always our own, with the elaboration of various national anthems.
