I find that he is a pianist with a strong melodic sense, perhaps with a slightly sugary style if you will, the important thing is not to overdo it.

Hi! Yes, it's a big spending and too much temptation! Adding to that, in recent years, CD prices (especially in jazz) have dropped quite a bit, so a lot of the material I already have on LP, I'm now repurchasing on CD, in addition to many new releases and some delightful curiosities. To tell you, last week I bought a double CD from Blue Note with all the historic Aladdin recordings of Young for €9.90, which, of course, for those who don’t have them, certain milestones should be bought even at €50. However, I believe this could be a big incentive for anyone looking to step into this musical world. Let's hope it lasts. A big bye!! P.S. Do you not appreciate Garland in general, or do you not love his trio works?

What a shopping spree! (Wow!). Evans box in mother-of-pearl at the modest price of €12.90! (a new long-distance record, the previous one being €13.40, headwind 2.46 m/sec) and then: Miles Smile at €4.90! (a short-distance record, tailwind 3.20 m/sec). Moreover, with pleasant surprise, I grabbed with both hands the tried-and-true trio of Red Garland (at a semi-full price) and then the beautiful and (highly recommended) Dual Role by trombonist Broomaker (never seen on CD), and sweetly on top of that: tatatatam ::: Duke Pearson (the magical touch and especially the ideas of the sublime in New Prospective by Byrd, the jewels of Wahoo and Tender Feeling, the oh-so-sweet Sweet Honey bee) The right touch!, which I will listen to soon with great calm. Awards for the records of choice: a talking Crodino, an irritable half-cooked, and a grand cloak.

beautiful review and mouthwatering proposal! I was aware of the rarity of this record, even though I’ve never listened to it. I will take care of it as soon as possible, thnks! If I remember correctly, there was a similar previous case of copies being destroyed before publication, but I don’t know the details of the situation well. The Tyburn Tull in '72 pressed about 200 copies of the self-titled LP as a private pressing, and 100 of them went up in flames, coincidentally due to a fire. The record became a significant collectible delicacy afterward.

Daduzza, the only thing you excel at is provocation and insult. Well done, a round of applause for you!

Alright, at this point I’ll grab it too, since I have the two Riverside discs and not the complete edition. The Fnc is throwing out the Blue Note catalog at dirt-cheap prices, Riverside at 5.90, and great deals on Columbia, Prestige, etc. etc. etc. (damn this cold...)
