We are not at the 78 rpm Vocalion records from the 30s of Robert Johnson; we are in the 50s. There are LPs, I have two: Bo Diddley and the third, Have Guitar Will Travel, and they have certainly been reissued on CD as well.

It is generally regarded as a masterpiece, and should I perhaps doubt it? I don't know, but that's not the point, since subjectively I wouldn’t go beyond 4 stars. One thing is certain though, from that magical Blue Note 60 period, there have been other works that have truly managed to shake me up.

@ ale, can I ask you what you mean by technique? Does playing a guitar require a technique? Does fixing a phone require a technique? Does getting into a doggy-style position require a technique? Knowing a technique is perhaps a means to achieve an end? Then there will be those who know how to use it better and those who will use it worse...
